Viessmann 2680 Two-way UNIMOG with low side car for catenary building-maintenance, functional model for 2 rail
RailStar 2000 from Zweiweg Company in Leichlingen, a subsidiary of the Zagro Group, is an innovation in the field of UNIMOG push/pull vehicles. Its basic chassis is a U1600 from the 427 series with a 240 HP engine. The maximum traction power is 85 kN for an admissible trailing load of 1.200 tons. In comparison to conventional UNIMOG push/pull vehicles, the circumferential frame allows for a significant increase of the maximum admissible pulling and pushing forces. Consequently, this vehicle can be integrated without limitation into the shunting units. Front and rear are equipped with buffer plates, coupling and decoupling in the shunting mode is achieved by means of pivoting automatic coupling bars. The gross vehicle weight is 12.500 kgs, the smallest track radius for operating this vehicle is 50 m. The shunting unit is safely decelerated by means of the installed wagon brake. Attached is a low side car equipped with cable drums and mounting frames serving as catenary system mounting unit. The patented drive unit which is similar to the ROBEL is built into the low side car. Technical functions: Slow movement, in operation with sound, both in digital and analogue operation the UNIMOG is all convincing. Including drive unit and direction depending headlight. Equipped with sound for many operations. The decoder is a multiprotocol-type supporting DCC, MM and analogue AC-/DC-operation, RailCom capable.
Functions in analogue mode:
- Driving mode forward/reverse
- Warning light active
- Sound active (type and volume configurable via CVs)
- Light outputs active
Functions in digital mode:
- Driving forward/reverse
- Functions can be separately switched: Sound (type and volume configurable via CVs), signal horn, lights
- Socket for NEM 362 rear
Dimensions: Lob 23 x W 3,8 x H 4,8 cm.
