500 years of Reformation. Monastery estate inspired by the original former Benedictines’ monastery built in the 15th century that is today the Protestant seminar in Blaubeuren, Wurtemberg. The large nave of the hall church »St John the Baptist« with tower above the intersection of the nave and the transept, polygonal apse and late Gothic tracery windows is flanked with a three-aisle, two-storey building complex partly featuring half-timbered walls in the typical mixed masonry of late Gothic: dwelling and dormitory wing on the east side, visitor wing in the south aisle and abbey in the west wing.
