Tamiya 56371 RC SCANIA 770 S 8X4/4
This radio control semi-truck recreates the Scania 770 S 8x4/4. The Scania 770 S heavy trailer head is the newest heaviest-class trailer head added to the NEXT GENERATION SCANIA series in 2020. The actual S series in which this model faithfully recreates features a V8 turbo engine capable of 770hp. The 8x4/4 means double-axle 4-wheel drive at the rear and double-axle 4-wheel steering at the front.

The cab authentically recreated by precise injection molding, and its rear has detailed renderings of auxiliary machinery tower, fuel tank and air tank give it a heavyweight look.
-
Just like the actual vehicle, this model has double rear-axle drive and double front-axle steering. It has the motor and transmission at the front on a metal ladder frame.

Comments: The Tamiya Multi Function Control Unit #56523 is not included and provides many different truck related sound effects.
Both vehicle types require a 4 channel stick type radio for full function. If you're going to outfit your vehicle with one of our multifunction units (MFU), you will need to choose a analog radio. Shifting into gear is extremely easy once your transmission is adjusted correctly.
Our Semi trucks and Highlifts use 3speed transmissions for more maneuverability and true scale realism. Whether you're hauling a big load or climbing some rough terrain, the ability to shift into low gear can make the difference. High speed runs are no problem once you kick it into 3rd gear, when its time to move out!
Below you will see the basic concept on how the servo moves the transmission into all three gears. It is best to get the transmission adjusted with your trims centered and only using the collar on the transmission rod to adjust final increments. This will allow for the best operation if you're using a MFU unit.
*Make sure to use loctite on the grub screw in the collar to prevent having to readjust the transmission again.
*Taking a little extra time to set the transmission up will provide you with better performance and less adjustments down the road
