Revell 63967 MiG-21 F-13 Fishbed C
The development of the MiG-21 started in 1953. This cutting-edge aircraft was first revealed to the public in 1961 for the Moscow air parade. The first U.S. encounters with the MiG 21 were in combat over Vietnam. The North Vietnamese aviators were radio-guided from the ground to the target area where their main weapon, the newly built R-3S air-to-air missile, would be launched at their targets. During its career, a record number of 10,800 MiG-21, in all variants, were produced.
