Our New 80100+80200 and extensions
that we are building.
We think, that having a demo with all the possibilities that these
layouts and Noch products give, is the best way to promote them, so we
have not stop using any resource available, to make a show with at least
one of each one of the Noch products plus the biggest selection of
buildings, accessories and electronics that can be found, to enhance this
beautiful layouts.
The layout has one Silvretta+80130+Luzern+80140 on the back.
At front, it has 80101+10121+80101 to cover the difference open from the
addition of the 80140 that is larger than the 80130.
On some pictures, you will not see the front left extension on place, as
we are building this unit totally modular, so each panel can be separated
and put together again without big problems. Only one point we have one
building that shares one union. It is on the "Red District" side
of the Station, but we had no choice due the kind of buildings.
The layout has been modified from the proposed plan provided as follows:
Silvretta: On the top, we removed the small station and we filled
that hole to have a large house from Faller (the same than in the front
page of their catalog). Then we used some of the spaces for buildings, to
have a Country Market using scenes from Noch.
On the bottom of the Silvreta, the plan has been modified to allow
us to use a new connection we have made between the 80130 and the Luzern.
We did it opening a hole on the bottom of the 80130 (in the right
back corner) to enter to the 80200, so trains can run from one end to the
other end and back, but to do this, we had to change how they return to
the bottom of the 80100. You can see that we haven't finish that area yet,
as some geometry problems are still to be solved.
LUZERN: We changed the plan on the bottom of the layout, so the yard
proposed by Noch, has disappeared and we used it to have a row of houses,
to make more logic the connection between 80200 and 80140. Also, we
changed the inner track to allow only one train on front of the station.
On the extensions, we decided not to have, at the front, more tracks
than those minimum required, so we can give this layout, a real view of
something that is pleasant to see and not too many trains moving around.
This is a very relaxing layout and people spend hours looking at it.
The large quantity of lights and electronics used, the profusion of
details, people and motif, makes it a "must see".
Also, we are building it, with the idea on mind, that you don't need
to follow to the letter, the plans included on them, so those that want to
make some changes, can see that changes are allowed and only your
imagination can be the limit.
Now, some pictures for you to see. Remember they are not good
quality as they were taken with a cheap camera and without the required
light.

Of course, still is a lot of work to do, but once finish, this will
be a very nice layout.
We will take professional pictures of it when ready and also, we
have contracted a Video Company to prepare videos of this layout that will
be distributed to our Customers or prospects. (VHS only, no PAL format)
