KYOSHO_30074B ULTIMA RB5 2WD 1/10 EP
BUGGY KIT
Description: REQUIRES ASSEMBLY, RADIO, ELECTRIC MOTOR, BATTERIES
AN WHEELS/TIRES
Kyosho announces the new Ultima RB5 electric racing buggy. It's a
virtually all-new design that is the result of years of R&D and includes
the collective experience of the world's most experienced RC racing
drivers and engineers from the world's most experienced RC racing
company. The main goal of the new Ultima RB5 is simple - to win the next
IFMAR World Championship.
The new Ultima RB5 only shares rear hubs with the Lazer ZX-5 and a
few common hardware items, but the essential and distinguishing
components of the car, such as the chassis, transmission, bulkheads,
shock towers, suspension and the sleek aerodynamic body, are all new.
Each aspect of the car is specially designed and tested to produce
maximum performance. Likewise, the materials chosen for this new Ultima
are exhaustively tested - all with the goal to create the ultimate
no-nonsense competition car that's ready to take on the world |
The Lazer ZX5 is the culmination of Kyosho's 15 years of
experience with Electric 4WD off road cars. The Lazer was designed from the
ground up as an off road electric buggy, not a 4WD on road sedan with longer
arms and shocks.
The shaft drive chassis is designed to promote weight balance left to right as
well as the proper front to rear balance. The built in slipper clutch helps to
smooth out the choppy tracks and helps damp harsh inputs to the drive train to
keep it running run after run. Up front there are three options, ball
differential, one-way and spool, plus you can use a center one-way on the drive
shaft as well.
The ZX5 also comes stock with a rear sway bar and Kyosho's Twin-Cap Pro Shock
for easy maintenance and threaded bodies make for a silky smooth suspension.
Overall the Lazer ZX-5 is a race bred, competition 4WD electric buggy that is
sure to put you at the head of the pack

Set your sights on the World Championships with another Lazer set to
revolutionize EP buggy racing!
The world of EP buggy racing was once dominated by the speed of the Kyosho Lazer.
The same racing philosophy has been applied with bleeding edge racing technology
to produce the "Lazer ZX-5" 4WD racing buggy. Its debut at the 2005 Japan
Nationals saw two cars competing for the title in the A-main final and impress
all with its high performance. The symmetrical layout features a center shaft
drive to realize isometrically balanced front and rear axles. Exceptional weight
distribution and balance is achieved through the rear mid mounting of the motor
and simple transmission and battery arrangement to produce excellent control
characteristics in all areas. Also, the twin-cap Pro Shock units combine with
the double wishbone in a suspension system that produces great footwork on any
surface. In addition, the ball diff, one-way and 3 spool types (rigid) allow you
to choose the front axle setup to fit your driving style. On every scale, this
machine has what it takes to win races, especially the majors. The next chapter
in EP buggy racing is about to be written: by the ZX-5
