Trix 25976 Railcar Train ICE 4 Series 412-812 with Green Stripe
Model: 5-part version in length scale 1:95. With digital decoder and extensive sound and light functions. Controlled high-performance propulsion with a flywheel is centrally installed in the on-board restaurant car. All 4 axles in both bogies driven by cardan. Traction tires. Cabs of the end cars with interior fittings. Direction-dependent power supply via the front end car. Special close couplings with link guide. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Interior lighting installed as standard. Interior lighting is supplied via the continuous electrical connection of the entire train. Different color scenarios for interior lighting can be controlled digitally. In addition, cab lighting can be controlled separately and digitally. All lighting with maintenance-free warm white and differently colored light-emitting diodes (LED). Both pantographs on the service trolley can be raised and lowered separately as a digital function. Passable minimum radius 437.5 mm. Driving on radius 1 is also possible without paying attention to the clearance profile. Length of the train 151.5 cm.
At the end of 2016, the fourth generation of the ICE will begin the trial and introduction phase with two twelve-part units. The ICE-4 (series 412) manufactured by Siemens in cooperation with Bombardier is designed for use on high-demand lines and will gradually replace the ICE-1 and ICE-2 in the future, becoming the future backbone of the long-distance fleet. As a multiple unit, the ICE 4 is designed to be as adaptable as possible. The essential prerequisites for this are the drive cars, the so-called "power cars", where the main drive and power supply components such as the transformer, traction converter, traction cooling system and the four traction motors are identical and are arranged below the car body. Currently, the Twelve-part trains made up of six "power cars", the restaurant car, the service car, two unpowered middle cars and the two final control cars. The ICE 4 coaches are a bit longer compared to previous ICE types at 27.9 m instead of 26.4 m. In conjunction with a new seating system, it was possible to create a larger number of seats with the same legroom and additional luggage space. Despite its high seating capacity, the ICE-4 is comparatively easy because both its modularization and the light, internal running bogies and weight-optimized powered bogies as well as the further development of the aerodynamic design ensure weight and energy savings. Therefore, it also uses up to 22% less energy than its predecessors. The advanced Bombardier FLEXX Eco bogies with their low unsprung masses and very low weight contribute to low energy consumption thanks to their design and cladding options. On the other hand, the robust drive bogies of the ICE-4 are a further development of the proven SF 500 family from Siemens and meet the high requirements for support loads and driving forces. Electronic vehicle control is taken over by SIBAS PN, the innovative rail automation system from Siemens. The system consists of the two levels of the ETB train bus (Ethernet Train Bus) with the various control units as well as the conventional vehicle control system (control lines, contactors, switches) and the PROFINET vehicle bus, whereby everything is designed redundantly. After several order changes, the DB has now ordered 1,511 ICE 4 cars, which are put together to form 50 twelve-car and 50 thirteen-car trains (then with seven power cars) and 37 seven-car trains (3 power cars). Two remaining final control cars are planned as a reserve. The ICE-4 are designed for a top speed of 250 km / h, which, if necessary, can easily be increased to 265 km / h with a different drive motor ratio. The twelve-part units are currently being delivered. The first seven dividers then follow successively. Deliveries of the 13-car units are scheduled to begin in 2021 when the delivery of the 50 twelve-car units will be completed. which are put together to 50 twelve-part and 50 thirteen-part (then with seven Powercars) and 37 seven-part (3 Powercars) trains.
