Marklin 81304 Holidays Passenger Train Set with a Class 140
Off on Holiday
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 140 electric locomotive in chrome oxide green and 3 pairs of 3-axle Rebuild Cars, type B3yge. The locomotive and cars look as they did around 1972 in Era IV.
Model: The class 140 electric locomotive has a motor with a bell-shaped armature and warm white LED headlights. The pairs of cars to go with it are each permanently coupled together, and each have a Z Gauge coupler at the ends. Length over the buffers approximately 450 mm / 17-11/16.In the prototype such trains were often hauled by two locomotives double headed. For motive power reasons on grades, we also recommend using another model from the era.
