Faller 130801 Prefabricated High-Rise P2 Basic Kit
Those buildings made from prefabricated slabs were typical for the German Democratic Republic and built until the end of the 1960s. Our modular model is based on the most common type of prefabricated high-rise blocks. The P in the type description stands for parallel because the supporting walls were arranged parallel to the outer walls. The cipher 2 indicates the number of staircases. The basic kit includes the foundation with the doorways sticking out half a story, three stories with balconies on the rearward side, jamb walls, and flat roof. You can also modify the model and use it as a relief in your layout’s background. Please note: If you want more stories so that your »Plattenbau«, as the german's call it, will reach the usual height between 5 and 11 stories, you can purchase our additional set »Prefabricated High-Rise P2 Supplement« (Art. 130802). Each of these sets includes two more stories for the so called Type P2.
